New in 2008: All Kids’ Birthday Party!
On July 27, LaMom celebrated everyone’s birthday at The Basketball Academy.
All of the kids had a great time running, jumping, playing and eating cupcakes!Guest speakers during monthly meetings
LaMom will be hosting Dr. Daniel Weinberg on November 11, 2008. The in-service will start at 6:00 p.m., prior to the LaMom monthly meeting at Advanced Vision on Shelbyville Road.

Annual Family Picnic
The LaMom Family Picnic was held at the J-town Memorial Park, on September 21, 2008, from 4:00-6:00 p.m. We all had a great time! The weather was perfect as well as all of the children!!!
Annual Christmas Party
To celebrate the holidays, LaMom hosts an annual Christmas celebration for Mom’s only. The celebration is scheduled for December 7, 2008 from 1-3 p.m. Ali Lutch will be hosting the event. There is a new twist this year - a fun game of BUNCO and a (re)Gift Exchange. Mark your calendars!!

We have a variety of books that members are able to check out and read for an unlimited amount of time. Subjects range from premature babies to discipline techniques. Please contact Selena McGill for a complete list of books available.
New in 2008: LaMom Scholarship Fund
This fund is designed to sponsor Moms that are having difficulty with paying dues. This is a totally anonymous program that is organized by the Treasurer. If you would like to sponsor someone or would like to request a scholarship, please contact Keely Monsour.
